I once wrote a story about a girl who had a peculiar condition that meant every time her skin touched water it would change as if her features where being washed off. Underneath her skin would be a completely new face. She cut herself off from the world and only showed herself in front of people when she was performing magic behind a mask. One day she meets a boy who comes to all her shows and he wants badly to get to know her. She agrees to let him take her out for a fruit salad in the towns local fruit salad shop where there friendship begins. Deciding she cannot bare to tell him that her face changes during inclement weather and every time she hops in the shower she decides never to wash and carry an umbrella everywhere she goes. She puts lemons in her pocket and lavender in her hair so he will not notice she doesn't wash. One day they go out and she forgets her Umbrella and It starts to rain. This is an illustration of this moment before she flees the scene as she doesn't want for her secret to be uncovered.
